What will
happen at the first visit?
At your initial
exam, Dr. Stepovich will examine your mouth for problems - and
give you a full explanation of your situation.
While the
first exam does not usually result in immediate treatment, it
allows Dr. Stepovich to determine how and when a child's particular
program should be treated for maximum improvement with the least
time and expense.
Examination
of adult patients follow the same routine.
At this first
visit it is possible that a treatment plan could be made and orthodontic
treatment could begin.
Usually Orthodontic
records are taken at this first visit:
- Impressions
of the teeth can be taken,
- X-ray films
may be ordered or taken,
- Appointment
made to review these records.
A treatment
plan would be made and treatment begun.
